I was on the Glen Elly summer swim team with Howard in 8th grade. We also played sophomore football together. He died of cancer in Iowa when was 32 years old.
Bruce thanks for the info on Howard. Knew Howard best from a year at Eastern Illinois. We hung out all the time. Knew he had passed but did not know why ... really sad ... cancer still claims people I knew. Really enjoyed his company as we tread the waters of college.
